xrystal

privacy

xrystal is a companion for a crystal collection: a stone database with photos and remarks, selected-stone workflows, and an aura photo mode. some features need practical data storage: stone records, photos, remarks, optional location, optional body photos, and a persistent app identifier. this page explains what is collected, why, where it goes, and how to request removal.

1. who runs this

xrystal is built by dennis dubbelhuis, under the wallvish umbrella.

for privacy questions, deletion requests, or data requests, contact contact@wallvish.com.

2. what we collect

3. why we use it

we use this data to run the catalogue, keep your stones and photos available on your devices, show your private aura photos, deliver reading requests and their answers, investigate bugs, and improve future versions.

we do not sell your data. we do not use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

4. where it is stored

data is stored on your device and using google firebase services, and may be processed or stored in europe, the united states, or both, depending on the service and configuration in use.

the app is local-first: changes you make offline are kept on your device and sent when a connection returns.

5. who can see what

the stone catalogue is shared: stones, their fields, linked photos and remarks are visible to users of the app.

your aura and body photos are private to your own identifier. an administrator can see an individual body photo only when you ask for an energetic reading on it, and only for the purpose of answering that request.

we share data only with service providers needed to operate the app and its infrastructure, including google firebase, or where disclosure is required by law.

6. how long we keep it

we keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, preserve the catalogue, answer reading requests, investigate issues, and meet legal or security obligations.

deleted stones are moved to an internal bin so they can be recovered, and are removed permanently when that bin entry is deleted. permanently deleting a stone also removes the photos linked to it.

some technical records, logs, backups or internal records may remain where reasonably necessary for security, integrity, debugging or legal reasons.

7. your options

depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your data.

you can revoke camera, photo library, notifications or location permissions in your device settings, cancel a pending reading request from the photo it belongs to, disconnect a linked email address, or reset your identity from the app's settings.

if these options are not enough, contact contact@wallvish.com. we are happy to handle reasonable and valid requests.

8. deletion requests

settings includes identity and privacy actions. from there you can reset your local identity and clear the personal data mirrored on the device, and request removal of data linked to your current user identifier.

resetting identity does not by itself remove shared catalogue entries you contributed, because those are part of the common stone database.

9. children

xrystal is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children. if you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. changes to this policy

if this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top of this page changes with it. continued use after an update means the updated policy applies.

stones keep their own time. we try to keep ours accurate.
